From the beginning theKD has been driven to make music that tugs on the heartstrings of his audience. Inspired by the ups and downs of life, theKD paints vivid pictures of everyday triumphs and struggles that anybody can be going through. theKD is constantly challenging the norms of Modern Hip-Hop by combining profound raw emotions and clever wordplay to create a sound that is all his own. theKD understands that nobody is perfect and his music is a direct reflection of that. Creating the soundtrack to life, theKD has a record for every moment whether it’s good bad or something inbetween.
KD’s BIO
As a kid who grew up on the soulful sounds of Luther Vandross and Marvin Gaye, theKD effortlessly delivers introspective lyrics atop melodic production. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Childish Gambino, Juice WRLD, and Denzel Curry, the Cleveland native uses clever rhyme schemes, and creative wordplay to bring melancholy subject matters to life. A true jack of all trades, theKD not only pens his lyrics, but also engineers all of his music. Armed with an aggressive flow with melodic Undertones, it’s no wonder he is locally known as the “Energetic Sadboy”.
